welcome back m8

I've lost count of how many times you have appeared only to disappear quickly. I think your recent blog was put in shadow mode by the webmain of Bear(?). I remember reading an entry only about 15 minutes ago and can't find it again on the discovery feed.

That said, while I don't regret publishing "bear blog echo chamber" and won't delete it, I'm no longer proud of that piece. What troubles me is the possibility that someone might leave the platform due to my words or what could feel like mob mentality.

Despite my liberal leanings and personal politics, I value diverse voices and perspectives on the platform. While criticism has its place, the idea of myself or like-minded individuals inadvertently driving someone away from the platform feels uncomfortable.

It's worth noting that some people might sign up for Bear Blog simply as a content management system, without any interest in the IndieWeb or small web communities. I used to report certain link-spamming blogs to the webmain, but now that he's introduced a filter to hide blog posts, it's easier to simply ignore content that doesn't align with my interests and move on.

However, I don't appreciate that one of your alter egos (if that's what it is, apologies if not) tricked Robert into thinking it was a genuine entry from a Japanese person struggling to blog in English.

Take it easy.
