kerala crime files, season 2

While I wasn't a big fan of the first season of Kerala Crime Files, Season 2 truly stands out. Writer Bahul Ramesh has crafted a well-threaded story with excellent character development. His signature style, previously seen with the use of monkeys in the Malayalam film Kishkindha Kaandam, is brilliantly applied here with dogs. The first episode, in particular, does a superb job of immediately hooking the viewer, which is crucial for a series of this kind. Although there were moments of predictability and a few plot holes, the series maintains a good pace. Towards the end, assumed plot points gain unexpected complexity, a welcome bonus that challenges the audience's intelligence rather than dulling it. And the ending, in particular, is very well done, especially those smiles, providing the viewer a satisfying conclusion. Overall, Ahammed Khabeer's Kerala Crime Files Season 2 is a highly engaging watch. Note: There is no sex or nudity, but be advised of profanity throughout the series.
